We wanted to dedicate this post to a range that has been in Bodegas del Saz for some time, but that little by little is occupying the place that responds to it. We are talking about Aquarella, a young and fresh range. A wine to enjoy, a wine with a young and carefree character.
White – Sauvignon Blanc
Grapes from vineyards located at an altitude of 750 meters in limestone-sandy soils. Pale straw yellow with still green hues. Very bright. On the nose we find fruity notes of white fruit and stone fruit (peach). The nose gains complexity thanks to notes of grapefruit and lime. The first sensation in the mouth is moderately smooth. It is powerful, fresh and with good structure. On the palate it is fine and cheerful with a slight bitterness that provides a greater sensation of length.
Red wine – Cabernet Sauvignon
Grapes from vineyards located at an altitude of 800 meters in limestone soils. Intense cherry red color with a high robe with bluish and purple hues. Clean and bright. Very clean on the nose. Elegant fruit load reminiscent of an infusion of black fruits (blueberry and plum). Mineral aromas appear well assembled on light notes of India ink. Fresh drink but at the same time meaty. Its youth marks a present tannicity but in balance with acidity. In the retronasal route, the memories of black fruit are enhanced.
Pinkish wine – Tempranillo
Grapes from vineyards located at an altitude of 700 meters in limestone-sandy soils. Attractive and bright carmine pink. vivid purple hues on the trim. Intense and delicate aromas of wild red fruit and floral notes (violet) on a milky background reminiscent of yogurt. Sweet sensation on entry into the mouth that gains agility thanks to the freshness provided by a generous acidity. It has a velvety touch with a great weight of fruit. In the retronasal route, its fruity notes and curious memories of strawberry gum and other sweets return intensely.
